Governor
Muhammadu Abubakar, of Jigawa State has
sacked fourteen permanent secretaries in that state.
The
state Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammed Inuwa Tahir, disclosed this in a statement
issued in Dutse, yesterday.
According
to the statement, the affected permanent secretaries are – Alhaji Ibrahim
Alhaji (Water Resources), Alhaji Magaji Uba Muhd (Health), Adamu Mu’azu (Local
Government), Alhaji Abdulhamid Ali (Special
Service), Hajiya Furera Baffa (
Information) and Jamilu Abubakar ( Economic Empowerment).
Others
are – Bako Muhd Gangare (Local Government Service Commission), Barrister
Hussaini Magama (Justice), Mohammed Nasir Sani (Land and Regional Planning),
Garba Alhassan (Religious and Chieftaincy Affairs), among others.
