National
Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh, has
told federal investigators that he collected money from the office of the
National Security Adviser.
According
to the reports, Chief Metuh admitted the transfer of four hundred million naira into a company,
Destra Investment Limited, in which he has substantial interest.
An
EFCC source said that “It is left to Chief Metuh to justify why he deserved
such benefit from arms cash, noting that they are still questioning him on
other remittances into the company’s account and demanding on how he will refund
the cash.
He
added that, “Contrary to the noise outside, EFCC did its homework very well
adding that anybody they bring to the EFCC this time around, they make sure
that they have established a case against him”.
